There’s a big possibility that either our own government or others will block us access to the World Web. I feel suffocated just by thinking about it, but the chances are big. They might do it overnight or slowly within a year (as if in the “boil the milk with the frog in it, don’t throw the frog in the boiling milk” way). All things that are meant to bypass the firewall are being blocked or don’t work here. People work hard to create the curtain between the local net and the global net.
If or when that happens, I want to say how much I appreciate you all here, and that I value dearly everything that I’ve seen on this website. It pains me that I might have to give talking to me friends here and enjoying the fandom that brought so much to my tired, unexcited existence. I want you to know that I love all of you dearly, and I’m grateful to have known and for the time I spent here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I may have some posts queued, but if I don’t answer in comments or personal messages, it means that the worst happened, and the Internet is blocked for us. Needless to say, this is not a life I imagined having.

P.P.S. as of April 2023, our government blocked access to AO3 for our country. I’ll try my best to fight the censorship but it might not be up to me. It kills me to write this addition right now.
